Privacy Policy

• Location. If you tap "Use my current location", we read your device location to find nearby pickup spots and plan a route. It is used for that request only and is never sold or shared for advertising.
• Trip searches. Origin and destination text and coordinates are sent to our servers and to Google Maps Platform to compute distance, travel time and fares. Recent trips may be cached on your own device for offline use.
• Account details. If you sign in, we store your email address and authentication identifiers so we can keep you signed in and track your trial or subscription status.
• Community reports and feedback. Fares, waiting times, stop accuracy reports and feedback messages you submit are stored so they can be shown to other travellers in aggregate and reviewed by our moderators.
• Technical data. Basic request logs and error reports (such as timestamps and error messages) used to keep the service reliable and to prevent abuse.

To plan trips and estimate fares, show nearby terminals and pickup spots, display weather and traffic advisories, operate accounts and subscriptions, moderate community content, prevent abuse, and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

• Google Maps Platform — places search, routing, weather and map display.
• Supabase — database, authentication and secure storage of account and report data.
• Stripe — subscription checkout and billing. Card details are handled by Stripe, never by us.
• Google Play — app distribution for the Android build.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Community reports and feedback are kept while they remain useful to other travellers. Cached trips live only on your device and are cleared when you clear the app or browser storage.

You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings — the app still works using typed addresses. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and submitted reports by contacting us. We comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

Biyahe PH is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with row-level access controls so that only you and authorised moderators can reach your records.

We will update this page and revise the date above when this policy changes. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
